We have learned to embrace LaPaz and it’s people. This is a beautiful city on a beautiful sea. The people of LaPaz are genuine and unique. They seem to always be willing to help and have been patient with us as we learn their language.
We have shopped in the open air markets and adjusted our food preferences! The markets are colorful, both in their contents and their people.
Restaurants are an experience as well. The city comes alive around 9 at night as so many of it’s citizens spend hours eating and socializing with each other. There is music, laughter and good food.
We have gotten a couple of boat projects ticked off our list. We now have a new coat of wax right down to the water line as well as new windows installed in our dodger and bimini.
We will keep our slip in the Marina La Paz for a while and spend some time going back and forth, exploring the islands.
