June 22, 2021. The title may be a bit misleading, because only Slow Dancer stayed in Florida for those six weeks. We, however, heard the call of family and friends and flew to the Pacific Northwest for a two week vacation from our permanent vacation. Washington, Idaho and Oregon offered events, activities, and opportunities for fun with friends and family.
We also visited with Chase several times at his home in Clewiston, Florida, near Lake Okeechobee.
Palm Beach is beautiful, but not safe for hurricane season (per our insurance company), so on we go to Georgia, land of peaches and southern charm. Two and a half days north with the Gulf Stream at 3 1/2 knots pushing us north. Wish us luck!
